I have tried all the above, and even one where you hold down A after you boot into the BIOS - but with no luck. The system BIOS version (from the video) shows V1.12. This involves holding down Fn+Tab while starting the computer, before entering the BIOS.

This involves pressing certain keys (F4, 4, R, F, V, F5, 5, T, G, B, F6, 6, Y, H, N) while the laptop is turned off. Reported to also have worked on Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G. The system BIOS version (from the video) shows V1.37. This involves pressing Fn+Tab three times in the BIOS, then rebooting. I have tried the following: (for Insydeh20 rev5.0) I know there are ways to do it by unlocking the BIOS (e.g ) but I also know other people have had luck with certain key combinations. I've been trying for a while to access the advanced menu in the BIOS in order to enable XMP and other options. I have an Acer Aspire A514-52 with InsydeH20 Setup Utility Rev. i think this method should work for all newer Acer's with the InsydeH20 Rev5.0 BIOS and maybe laptops from other manufacturers. Today, a few days before the programmer arrives, i found a video on YouTube with 300 views titled "Acer Swift 3 SF314-42 Ryzen 4000 Series Laptop Run BIOS Advance MODE" showing the BIOS unlock code for that laptop. Acer forums were unhelpful and got me frustrated enough to the point that i ordered an SPI-programmer and SOIC8 clip to dump my BIOS and manually find and enable the Advanced tab from it's memory address. I, like many others accidentally stumbled into a second Advanced tab in my BIOS after adding a new stick of RAM, but then was never able to access it again. r/windows10 Please read the sidebar, and use this form when asking for advice :D
